Love & MonstersReally difficult to review this as an episode of Doctor Who. It was a short story that just happened to have a cameo by The Doctor. As a premise it was pretty good. I can't say it was a bad episode simply because it made me laugh on more than one occasion. Peter Kay was brilliant, the way he kept his Bolton accept when in monster form just added to the deadpan comedy. You never really discovered much about the Absorbaloff either, his tone implied he was making things up. And there was drama and emotion in there too. And the moral of the story, death follows The Doctor! Overall 8/10

Fear HerErm... I fear having to buy this episode when the box set comes out and accidentally putting it on again! Didn't like it. 1/10 (alongside The Twin Dilemma)

Army of GhostsOkay, now this is more like it. Two-parter, so slow build up again, but I can live with that. Cybermen return and this time they've got the Daleks on their side too! 7/10 for the Episode, but 10/10 for the last 5 minutes

Doomsday! And it truely was! What a phenomenal finale to an outstanding series of Doctor Who! Daleks vs. Cybermen. Would Rose, Jackie & Mickey survive, and how would The Doctor save TWO worlds to boot? But he did it in spectacular fashoin. The banter between the Daleks & Cybermen was wonderful, and I'm glad the production team got the balance of power right - the Daleks ARE superior to Cybermen! Throw Pete Tyler into the mix and you have an eye-watering five minutes of the best show on television. 10/10But am I bovvered?! (sorry, had to say it) So looking forward to Torchwood and the Christmas Special.

The Runaway BrideIT'S CHRISTMAS!!! For many, many years old Crimbo Day was getting to be a drag. A depressing chore. Then last year, despite serious illness, the day was brightened as David Tennant enjoyed his first adventure in the TARDIS. And it's that time again. Only this time Rose & family are gone, and The Doctor has to deal with Donna, the motormouth bride to be played wonderfully by Catherine Tate. The evil queen of the Racnoss tries to awaked her army of 'children' with evil intentions in mind. This is perfect for Xmas Day. Fun, action-packed and funny. The scene with the TARDIS flying next to the taxi is just fantastic, there's never been a scene like that in Doctor Who before! And Racnoss was very well envisaged, if not slightly over-acted. Overall 7/10 Oh, but it doesn't stop there. The trailer for Series 3 (29) ran afterwards and is now also online. Although the on-line version doesn't show Sec, the Black DALEK who escaped in Doomsday. Can't wait!
